The other week I had an order for some birthday cupcakes for a Moulin Rouge themed birthday party. The colour scheme was black red and gold.
I was quite excited by the theme as it gave me quite a few ideas. I wanted to give something new a try.

Black butter icing with red fondant numbers.
Red butter icing with gold dragees
Black and red butter icing frills.
They turned out really well and I think the client was pleased with the results.
